Pochettino and Chukwuemeka emphasize the impact of Sterling.

Raheem Sterling has been a key member of the Chelsea team this season, both on and off the field, as noted by midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka and head coach Mauricio Pochettino.

Sterling got off to a great start in our FA Cup quarterfinal victory at Stamford Bridge over Leicester City on Sunday. Cole Palmer scored Chelsea’s second goal of the match after the 29-year-old missed a penalty he had won in the first half.

This season, Sterling has been involved in 15 goals across all competitions. Only Palmer and Nicolas Jackson, who created our opening against the Foxes, have outperformed it so far this season.

Pochettino has also emphasized the importance of the winger to the team and the necessity of supporting the England international.

The Chelsea head coach stated, “I’m going to support him and we’re going to support him. The feelings weren’t good for him.” “He is a very experienced player who has played in big teams and has an incredible resume. “We will back him even though he missed the penalty and a few other opportunities. Overall, I’m happy with him. It’s an opportunity to demonstrate that we are making progress with this support, and he will undoubtedly perform well in a game where he is needed to assist the team.

Pochettino went on, “We want to improve the environment.” I’m not going to lie. Since we are representing Chelsea in the upcoming game, I hope that the supporters of the team will be behind us.The players want to give it their all for the team and the supporters; we’re in the process of trying to win over our supporters. We’re hoping to establish a strong rapport for the remainder of the season.

Childhood Chelsea fan Chukwuemeka has echoed his head coach’s sentiments and brought attention to the unseen leadership Sterling has shown at our Cobham training base.
“Everyone is human and sometimes you can’t control your emotions,” he said, adding that “as a team, fans included, we need to trust the process.”

Raheem has been a huge assistance to us young players, particularly to Cole, Noni (Madueke), and me. He constantly evaluates us, pointing out our weaknesses and areas for growth both inside and outside of the football field. I think of him as my big brother. He has a great career and is an accomplished player. We are aware of his exceptional skill as a player. This season, he has won a ton of penalties for the team and assisted in several goals. However, he is only human, and occasionally players blow opportunities and have bad days. This occurs. However, we continue to follow him, and he was still responsible for Cole’s goal assist.
