Real Madrid will travel to play Granada in the 35th round of La Liga on Saturday, May 11.
Granada
Granada’s only chance of survival this season is a miracle. If Mallorca loses all four of their remaining games, Granada needs to win all four of them to stay in La Liga. Therefore, Granada can safely begin getting ready for Segunda’s upcoming season. Granada is in 19th place right now and isn’t going to get any better. Granada has, however, been playing well lately, picking up 7 points in 4 games. However, Granada lost badly to Sevilla in the previous round, falling short by a score of 0-3.
Real Madrid
Madrid has performed once more! Real Madrid is the 36-time Spanish champion team. Following Barcelona’s loss to Girona (2-4) and their previous round victory over Cadiz (2-0), Carlo Ancelotti’s team was insurmountable for all rivals. Then Madrid performed yet another miracle in the Champions League. Real Madrid was trailing 0-1 to Bayern during the match, but two goals late in the game by Joselu helped the team advance to the next final, where they will take on Borussia Dortmund. Naturally, Carlo Ancelotti is expected to rotate the team heavily once more because the match against Granada has no bearing on the tournament.
