The former Chelsea defender stated that signing Salah shouldn’t even be considered, not because of past ties with the forward, but due to the disruption he could bring to the team’s balance under Enzo Maresca.

They are part of a generation without big egos, even though Cole Palmer is in the spotlight. I think bringing in a player like Salah would disrupt the team’s balance, despite his Premier League form, and it would weaken Liverpool,” Gallas told said.
