Liverpool Without Alisson for Real Madrid Clash

Liverpool’s first-choice goalkeeper, Alisson Becker, remains sidelined with an injury sustained during the seventh round of the Premier League. His availability for upcoming matches is also in doubt.

According to Liverpool manager Arne Slot, Alisson will not feature in the UEFA Champions League match against Real Madrid. The team is taking a cautious approach to his recovery.

Quote:

“I don’t expect him to be ready for the game against Real Madrid. We are careful with everyone, especially when it comes to muscle injuries. He has resumed training with the goalkeeping coach, not yet with the team, but we expect that to happen soon,” said Slot.

Liverpool is reportedly prepared to sell 2 goalkeepers amid the potential arrival of Giorgi Mamardashvili. The club is open to parting ways with not only backup keeper Caoimhín Kelleher but also their number one, Alisson Becker.

Transfer Rumors: Chelsea is reportedly eyeing Kelleher as a potential signing.

Reminder: Alisson has missed part of this season due to injury, during which Kelleher stepped in between the posts
