Manchester City want to replace Alvarez with a Real Madrid star. Carlo Ancelotti’s response is known

The departure of Man City forward Julian Alvarez to Atlético Madrid is very close, but the Citizens intend to make up for this loss with a player from another popular club from the Spanish capital.

The Etihad were interested in the Real Madrid forward “Rodrigo” and were ready to allocate 75 million euros for this purchase.

Rumors were fuelled by the fact that recently at the Santiago Bernabéu officially presented Kylian Mbappé, and it was believed that the Brazilian may not find a place in the team.

But Real Madrid are reacting sceptically to the departure of Rodrigo. Real Madrid’s head coach “Carlo Ancelotti” sees him as part of the attacking trio that he will form alongside Vinícius Júnior and Mbappé.

Rodrigo Hernández played against Chelsea earlier in the week, playing 66 minutes and showing 97 per cent passing accuracy with one key pass.

But Real are also failing miserably with their purchases.
