Real Madrid may consider selling one of their crucial central defenders

Real Madrid was shocked to learn that important midfield player Toni Kroos was retiring. That being said, there may be more changes in store for the Madrid team this summer.

The Royal Club is considering the possibility of parting ways with central defender Eder Militao, according to Mundo Deportivo. For head coach Carlo Ancelotti, the 26-year-old Brazilian has been an almost essential player. He did, however, sustain a serious injury earlier in the season when his left knee’s anterior cruciate ligament ruptured.

Militao hasn’t played on the field very often since his return to action at the end of March. These days, it appears that Militao is more often used for rotation than for recurrence prevention. Chust, a midfielder, has been used in place of Militao at center back.

As a result, Real Madrid’s management and head coach Carlo Ancelotti are debating whether to sell the Brazilian. This season, he has only made 12 appearances.

Recall that Carlo Ancelotti recently disclosed the club he intentions to end his coaching career with. According to the Real coach, the “Royal Club” will be his last stop in his career map.
