Preview: Bayern Munich vs Arsenal

In today’s UEFA Champions League quarterfinal second leg of the 2023–24 season, Bayern Munich will take on Arsenal in Munich on April 17. Draw 2-2 was the result of the first leg in London.

Following their heartbreaking 0–2 loss to Aston Villa the previous weekend, Arsenal now faces a much more challenging battle for the championship. Thankfully, though, this game resulted in no player injuries for the Gunners.

Because of his discomfort when he was substituted against Aston Villa in the second half, there were concerns about Martin Odegaard’s ability to play today. However, he is fully recovered and ready. As a result, Jurrien Timber is the only injured player for Arsenal.

Kai Havertz and Declan Rice of Arsenal are two players who could be disqualified for collecting too many yellow cards.

In contrast to Arsenal, Bayern Munich recently defeated Cologne 2-0 over the weekend and has already lost its chance to win the Bundesliga.
Munich lost a vital player to injury during that game for several weeks. Kingsley Coman, a Winger, suffered another injury.

Thomas Tuchel, the head coach of Bayern Munich, therefore cannot depend solely on four key players right now. In addition to Coman, today’s absentees include Serge Gnabry, Alphonso Davies, and Sasha Boey.
