Champions League round of eight: City plays Real, Arsenal draws Bayern.

In a thrilling series of Champions League quarterfinal matches, Manchester City will play Real Madrid and Arsenal will play Bayern Munich.

In the semi-finals, the Premier League rivals could square off against each other, with the winners of those two matches meeting in the final four.
Somewhere else, the two-leg match between European powerhouses Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain will determine who will play Atletico Madrid or Borussia Dortmund.

After defeating Porto on penalties, the Gunners will now play six-time champion Bayern Munich. Harry Kane, the former captain of Tottenham, will see his old North London rivals again.

With 14 goals against Arsenal in the past, Kane, 30, will be focused on stopping Mikel Arteta’s team’s Champions League run.
Champions City and 14-time winners Real meet once more in a classic matchup; the two teams faced off in the semifinals of the previous two seasons.

The Citizens were soundly defeated by Los Blancos en route to winning the trophy in 2022, but City defeated them 5-1 overall in the course of their championship-winning run the previous season.
Five-time champion Barca will play PSG, who is still vying to become the first European champion, in the Champions League quarterfinals for the first time in four years.

In the round of 16, Dortmund advanced by defeating PSV Eindhoven, and Xavi’s team may face Atleti, rivals in La Liga, in the semifinals.
The return matches will happen one week after the first legs of the quarterfinals, which are scheduled for April 9 and 10.
Before the second legs on May 7 and 8, focus shifts to the semi-final first legs on April 30 and May 1.
