Everton will have a new owner; with all terms of the deal have been agreed upon with the buyer

Everton’s current owner, Farhad Moshiri, kept looking for buyers after the agreement to sell the majority stake to 777 Partners and Blue Heaven Holdings Limited fell through last month. Everton supporters Andy Bell and George Downing, two businessmen from Liverpool, had indicated their desire to buy the team, and they had the support of American billionaire Michael Dell.

But Dan Friedkin, the owner of Roma, was also rumored to be interested in Everton. The American is currently leading the race in this regard, according to The Guardian. According to reports, Friedkin and Moshiri have tentatively agreed on the takeover of the club.

Farhad Moshiri is willing to sell his ninety-four percent stake in Everton, and Friedkin is currently the most desirable buyer.

Dan Friedkin, whose net worth is estimated to be £4.81 billion, has owned Roma since 2020. In addition to the Italian team, Friedkin also owns FC Cannes, a team that plays in the Championnat National 2, the fourth division of French football, which he purchased last year after outbidding 73 other investors. Interestingly, Friedkin tried to buy AC Milan prior to his purchase of Roma; however, his €1.2 billion offer was rejected, and the deal collapsed.

Last season, Everton placed fifteenth in the Premier League, barely avoiding relegation despite fines imposed for breaking financial fair play regulations.
