Girona’s Artem Dovbyk, a striker, is prepared to play for another La Liga club.
For the forthcoming season, the Ukrainian has agreed to a contract with Atletico Madrid. Dovbyk declined other offers primarily because he wants to remain and play in Spain. Girona is not hurrying negotiations in order to secure a comparable amount, as the striker’s contract stipulates a 40 million euro release fee.
By the way, Atletico Madrid is almost done completing the transfer of a defender from the Spanish national team. The club’s negotiations with Real Sociedad over the transfer of center defender Robin Le Normand have advanced significantly.
Juventus is also thinking about bringing Alvaro Morata back from Atletico Madrid. In two years, Morata’s deal with Atletico Madrid comes to an end. He participated in 48 games across all competitions in the recently concluded season, tallying 21 goals and dishing out five assists.
