Manchester United bosses are ready to make a decision on ten Hag’s future.

The post-season analysis of Manchester United’s results from the previous campaign is coming to an end, and the Red Devils’ executives will shortly make a decision regarding manager Erik ten Hag’s future.

The specialist is already back from vacation, and this week Manchester United management will decide what to do with him. At Old Trafford, though, the Dutchman hasn’t been given the final say thus far.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the manager of Manchester United, had discussions with Thomas Tuchel, the former head coach of Bayern Munich and Chelsea. However, Tuchel has declined to work with the team and is seeking time off.

Regarding the other candidate for the position, England head coach Gareth Southgate, his strong relationship with INEOS sporting director Dale Brailsford and Dan Ashworth—who has been linked to a similar role at Manchester United—may put him in a better position for others.
