The legendary José Mourinho, who took a short break from coaching, has found a new club.
Gianluca Di Marzio claims that the Portuguese manager will take over as Fenerbahçe’s new head coach. The Istanbul club and Mourinho have already reached an agreement on a two-year contract, and the news may be revealed as soon as today.
Beşiktaş had previously expressed interest, according to reports.
In January of this year, Mourinho was fired from Roma, and Daniele De Rossi was named as his replacement. Mourinho has managed Real Madrid, Manchester United, Porto, Chelsea, Tottenham, and Inter in the past.
Fenerbahçe finished last season with 99 points in the Turkish Super Lig, but they were defeated by Galatasaray in the championship game.
