Coach Asserts PSG has a Significant Edge against Barcelona in Champions League Match

Though there are still a few days until the FC Barcelona vs. Paris Saint-Germain first leg, the predictions are starting to surface. Spanish manager Ñscar García, who coached in Ligue 1 at Saint-Étienne and Stade de Reims, provides the most recent analysis.

However, García was raised by Barcelona as well, so he probably has two positive viewpoints on the game. Despite his Catalan roots, the 50-year-old observes that PSG’s possession of Kylian Mbappé is what gives them the advantage in this match.

“Having Mbappé on your team makes a clear difference compared to others,” García said to Mundo Deportivo. “He is the player with the best present and the brightest immediate future in football.”

Manager Luis Enrique made changes to the tactical plan following the team’s 2-0 victory over Olympique de Marseille this past weekend. Ousmane Dembélé played a more central role in midfield for the 53-year-old.

However, with the first matchup against Barcelona coming up in a few days, the Spanish manager is unwilling to reveal his cards and prefers to keep the La Liga team in the dark about his strategy.
