Bright Osayi-Samuel of the Super Eagles and two other Fenerbache players have received summonses to appear before their disciplinary committee, according to a statement released by the Turkish Football Federation today.
Sayi Samuel and his teammates got into a brawl with Trabzonspor supporters who stormed the field following their team’s 3-2 home loss to Fenerbache.
The Turkish FA’s rules and regulations stipulate that they could be subject to a lengthy ban lasting up to 10 matches.
The Fenerbache will convene an extraordinary board meeting tomorrow to decide on the measures that will be implemented in response to the violence in that game.
According to reports, one of the actions might be the giants of Istanbul quitting the league.
Right now, they are ranked second on the table.
