Former Manchester United midfielder Ryan Giggs is out of the coaching job after stepping down as head coach of the Wales national team in the summer of 2022, but that could soon change.
The Welsh side were recently left without a coach after losing to Poland in March 2024 in a penalty shoot-out to fly past the European Championships. Now, according to The Times, the Dragons are set to make Giggs the successor to Rob Page.
In addition to the former Manchester United midfielder, Craig Bellamy also interviewed for the position, but Giggs in comparison with him has a better chance of employment in the Welsh team.
It is worth recalling that the 50-year-old specialist was sacked from the Welsh national team in June 2022 after suspicions of causing bodily harm to his partner.
