Preview: Chelsea vs Tottenham.

Even though there are a few European Cup matches scheduled for May 2, the main attraction is the match between Chelsea and Tottenham in the Australian Premier League.

Chelsea

The “Blues” are currently only in ninth place in the APL because of their extreme instability. Chelsea’s first-half performance against Aston Villa in the previous round indicated that they were burning 0:2 down, but they ultimately played 2:2, with great opportunities to win. Six points separates the bottom six, making it seem unlikely that any of them will compete in European events.

Mauricio Pochettino, the head coach, will be facing his old team, which he had good success with. This is a big meeting for him. Due to injuries, at least 12 players will be absent from the next match; two players are still doubtful.

Tottenham

The “Spurs” hope to finish in the top 4, but their chances of doing so don’t seem good. They finish fifth in the championship, seven points behind the first quartet, and have two more games left. In the most recent round, Tottenham nearly achieved a 0:3 camber but lost to Arsenal in the principal derby at their stadium with a score of 2:3. This setback was the second consecutive one.

It is difficult to believe that Aston Villa will finish in the Champions League zone; their only chances are a strong finish and their mistakes. The team has also suffered a great deal of player losses; at least six players will have to miss the next match.
