However, Sport reports that Xavi is asking Laporta and the other board members for specific guarantees about the club’s long-term project.
In consideration of the club’s financial constraints, the former Spain midfielder desires a well-thought-out transfer shortlist that includes players who can be signed. He is not willing to make the effort to connect with possible targets only to come up empty-handed.
